OUR HOME

WELCOME!!!

Our home is a modified Cape Cod built in 1939 and is on Crawford County, Missouri's Historic Homes list. I fell in love with her the minute I laid eyes on her back in 2010.  She had been abandoned for a few years and was in need of much love and repairs but she exuded so much charm and character that I just could not resist making the purchase. Since that time we have been lovingly restoring this old house back to life.  This is where we are so far...

Sorry for some of the poor quality pictures here.  I will try to get some better ones soon!!!

With the exception of a change of wall art in the dining room and the china cabinet being painted black, all these rooms pretty much look this way today.

Some of these rooms are not completely done...well most of them aren't so you can expect that there will be come changes coming.  Be sure to follow along as I continue to update this 1939 fixer upper.

If you would like to get somewhat of a glimpse of what she looked like the day we bought her, check out the real estate listing of her HERE and my posts HERE and HERE.  I promise, you won't believe the difference!!

I'm glad you dropped by today for a visit and I hope you will come back often to check and see what kind of new updates have been made.  If you want you can become a follower, a friend and/or receive email updates...It's easy!  Just check out my sidebar for all those options.
