A few years ago while looking for new bedding for my room, I stumbled across an online store (place) called Pine Cone Hill, featuring Bella Notte Linens...there I saw the most beautiful, dreamy beds I had ever seen in my life...
...the fantastic part is you can buy any of the bedding you see....it's ALL for sale...but then isn't everything...that is, FOR THE RIGHT PRICE...
...I am once again in the market for some new bedding, you can read about that in my previous post HERE...anyway, I took an online trip back to Pine Cone Hill to see all their beds in glorious fashion and to find a LOT of inspiration...
...I'm tellin' ya, these people really know how to make a bed...
...or NOT (my messy bed has NEVER looked this good, lol)...and I just thought you all might want to take a look at their selection, get some ideas and inspiration...and IF you have a lot of cash (you lucky dog) buy something (then you could have them ship it to my house, thanks)...I know if I had mucho greenbacks I would take one of everything (including someone to show me HOW to MAKE my bed to look like theirs)...
...anyway, If you have enjoyed the photographs on this post, take a little jaunt on over to PINE CONE HILL to see the rest of their gorgeous beds, furniture and other stuff...I promise you will be delighted, and inspired.
Disclaimer: This is NOT a paid advertisement for Pine Cone Hill or any of their affiliates, nor have I been offered any of their products in return for this post (although if they are reading this, I would take whatever they want to give me...hint, hint). I simply just fell in love with their stuff and thought all my bloggy friends might want to take a looksy!

WILD THING...I THINK I LOVE YOU
Okay, so did I ever tell you guys that I love animals? Well, okay maybe not animals like your thinking...I love animal print in my decor...especially LEOPARD print...it's exotic....chic...and truly goes with just about anything...okay that is probably just my OPINION but let me run with this...will ya...
...a long time ago I decided that I was going to decorate my master bedroom all WHITE with a splash of pink roses...kind of like a Jo-Anne Coletti style room...surprisingly the hubs said he was "OKAY" with this extremely feminine/romantic style for our master bedroom if that's what I wanted...
...I have ATTEMPTED this look but it is just not working...the problem is my furniture...it's NOT white, it's mahogany...and the hubs is NOT going to let me paint it...I've BEGGED, pleaded, cried, fixed his favorite meal...NOPE, not gonna happen...so my dream of an all white room is over...DRATS...
...since then I have been RACKING my brain for an idea of just what to do in this room...I want something light and airy but it's gonna have to go with MAHOGANY furniture...that's when I spotted a remnant of a light colored leopard print fabric at my favorite thrift shop...I absolutely LOVE leopard print and that got me to thinking (I'm standing there gazing of into space, mind churning and then it hit me)...what would cream walls, my existing white duvet set and leopard print sheets and....of course...my mahogany furniture look like together...
...what do YOU all think about that combination?...think it will WORK?
...I set out in search of some inspiration pics but have not found anything remotely similar...however, I did find...my DREAM room...all white and leopard print....ahhhhhhhhhh, I'm in love...I want it.....but there's one hitch....I NEED WHITE FURNITURE...wouldn't ya know it!
...I would also need a LOT of cash...since this set is Ballard Designs...but don't you just love the soft light leopard print fabric...and the fringed BURLAP bedskirt....it's to DIE for...this room just brings out the ANIMAL in me...I love it...
...anyway, I would love to hear your opinion on how you think mahogany furniture, white duvet, leopard print sheets and cream colored walls would look in my master bedroom...I also thought of making white cotton drapes with leopard print trim for the windows...Let me know what you think...SERIOUSLY....can't wait to hear from ya.

A LITTLE "WHITE" INSPIRATION...
While glancing through Country Livings online magazine the other day I spotted plenty of GORGEOUS inspiration...I don't know whose homes these are from but I sure wish the designers would come pay ME a visit...hint, hint...I absolutely love these beautiful rooms...so beautiful...so white...so shabby...so inspiring...ENJOY!
...yawn, I am ready for my nap now...so comfy...so dreamy...
...couldn't you just see yourself SNUGGLING in and spending some quality RELAXATION time in one of these places....I know I can...

A FEW ROOS...
I am joining Shelia @ Note Songs today for her little Chick and Rooster party...we moved into our new (OLD) house last September and sadly to say most of my ROOS are still packed up...I just simply have not found a spot for them as my kitchen is very tiny with no display area over the top of the cabs like my last house had...but don't despair I am determined I will find a place for them all...in the meantime, I did make use of the top of my refrigerator...
...of course, I had to put my Rooster print on the wall...
...my unpacked roosters will be seeing the light of day SOON....I am going to incorporate them in with my dining room decor...I have decided to go with a french country theme in there where Roos fit right in...

HELP...I NEED YOUR ADVICE
Recently I shared with you all the exterior of my house...
...First, let me say thanks for all the NICE comments you sent me about how CHARMING our home is...they were all inspiring and encouraging....THANKS...although it's an older home we fell in love with it at first sight...it just really spoke to us...so we bought it knowing that it was in need of MUCH tender loving care...
...as I'm sure I have probably mentioned, it's in DESPERATE need of a paint job...so we are gearing up for that job right now...we have taken down the awnings and shutters and are in the process of scraping, sanding, etc.
..I have had my mind set to give it a fresh coat of white paint...replace the light blue (falling apart) wood shutters with black ones and paint the front door red...a very classic color combo...something like this one...
...then a few nights ago my husband said...have you thought about painting the house something OTHER than white?...I was shocked...he has never asked questions like that before...what's that the hubs interested in curb appeal and color choices...huh? ...he said, I was just thinking that NOW would be the perfect opportunity to make a change, that is if you want to, because it's going to be a VERY LONG time before we do this again...well, that got me to thinking, maybe I would like something other than WHITE...so we discussed a few options...we opted out of tan mainly because our last two houses were tan and we want something DIFFERENT...
...neither of us are into yellow or blue however we did like the idea of a sage or moss green with cream or white trim...something like these examples...
...as the roof of our home has a light gray shingle and the front porch and chimney are made of stone with gray hues...we thought this color combo would look pretty good...our home also has a few architechural features which are hidden with the house being all white....the siding around the dormer room window (although you can't tell it from the poor quality pictures of my home above) is wavy while the rest of the siding is straight...also the molding around our front door is very beautiful and is topped with a pediment...architechural features which should be highlighted in someway or another...I believe going with an exterior color other than white would give us the opportunity to highlight those areas...
...we also liked the idea of a deep barn red with cream/white accents...like these...which I believe would also work with our existing roof and porch color...but may be a tad extreme for us...
...maybe we could go with gray...
...well, that's my choices...decisions, decisions, decisions...should we keep our house white or go with sage, red or gray...won't you please help me make this decision easier...my husband and I are not professional painters or color specialists...but this is a job we are going to have to tackle on our own because of a tight budget...so I could really use all the help and advice I can get...HELP!!!

HE'S MY SUNSHINE
Hello all! Sorry for my blogging absence lately...I have been way busy with SUMMERTIME activities. We spent a week away on summer vacation...CAMPING. Sadly I have no pictures of our trip. Oh yes, I took my camera only to discover my rechargeable batteries were DEAD and I forgot to pack the charger. SILLY ME!!!
This past weekend we took the kiddos to a local attraction...Meramec Springs Park in St. James, Missouri...it's a trout hatchery....we had loads of fun and for once the weather wasn't SWELTERING...I was smart enough to charge my batteries for this little excursion....and to celebrate I want to share a cute little snap shot with you of our little adventure...
...isn't he the cutest...my little bubs...HE'S MY SUNSHINE and the joy of my life...as is my teenage daughter...however she was more interested in hanging out with friends back at the picnic area so I did not get any shots of her...but I was thrilled to get this shot of the bubs.
Hope you all have a FABULOUS summer day...
